FORT WORTH A
Fort Worth finished their cup match season with a 7-1 record. Under the guidance of
coach Mike Kwedar, Fort Worth erased the memory of the previous year's dismal 1-7 record.
Overall Fort Worth outscored their opponents 176-72.
In the Texas Rugby Union Championship, Fort Worth met a tough Woodlands side and edged
them out with a 28-15 final, and then defeated rival Denton convincingly, 41-3.
In the Western Championship, Fort Worth continued its domination on the overmatched
Scott Air Force Base 85-0. The Western Final was closer, but saw Fort Worth extend a 5-3
halftime lead to a solid 24-3 final over Queen City RFC from Denver, CO.
Once in the National Quarterfinals, Fort Worth defeated the South Side Irish 20-11 and
then finally went down to the infamous Utah International team 29-16.
FORT WORTH B
Fort Worth B also finished their cup match season with a 7-1 record. Fort Worth's only
loss came on a close 13-12 match in the Spring to Denton. Overall Fort Worth outscored
their opponents 199-70.
In the Texas Rugby Union Championship, Fort Worth B also met a tough Woodlands side and
edged out a slim victory, but lost a close match to rival Denton 15-9.
