1999 Ugly American Tour - Itinerary

Thu. 28 -
Depart Fort Worth
Fri. 29 - Arrive in London Gatwick 9:00 AM. Take the tube into town for sightseeing, lunch, more sightseeing and then dinner. Have a few pints in London,   head for Southampton, and stay at the Golden Lion Inn & Pub.
Sat. 30 - Rugby match vs. Old Tottonians at 12:00.  Watch the first Rugby World Cup Semifinal with the Tottonians. Night out in Southampton.
Sun. 31 - Church in the morning. After Church, head to Twickenham for the second Rugby World Cup Semifinal.

Mon. 1 -
Travel to Cardiff in the minibuses, stopping at Stonehenge and Windsor Castle on the way. Accomodations at Maindy Barrack.
Tue. 2 - Sightseeing in Cardiff during the day. Evening rugby match against the Cardiff Saracens (Gareth Lloyd’s club). Night out with the Saracens.
Wed. 3 - Day-trip to Bath, England by train.
Thu. 4 - Day in Cardiff. Watch 3rd/4th place Rugby World Cup Match at Millenium Park.
Fri. 5 - Free day in Cardiff. Tour Cardiff Arms Park.
Sat. 6 - Attend Saracens match in the morning.  Guests of honor for the viewing of the Rugby World Cup Final. Night out in Cardiff afterward.
Sun. 7 - Coach trip through Brecon and the north-central part of Wales.
Mon. 8 - Train ride from Cardiff to Liverpool. After checking out the local points of interest, board an overnight ferry for Belfast.
Tue. 9 - Ferry arrives Early morning. See Belfast during the day. Rugby match and social with Dromore that evening.  Accomodations at hotel owned by a Dromore club member.
Wed. 10 - Take a coach to Dublin, spend the day sightseeing and touring the Guiness brewery. Accommodations at St. Something or Other, a former mental hospital that has been converted into a hotel.
Thu. 11 - Take the ferry from Dublin to Holyhead, traveling back to Cardiff via Mumbles.
Fri. 12 - Final day. Last-minute souvenir shopping for the wives. Club dinner at Charleston’s.
Sat. 13 - Take the early train to Gatwick. Flight departs at 11:15.
